The LightingSensor

order code: lise

Automatically synchronize film lighting with a switched practical or a blown off candle flame.

LightingSensor

Manually synchronized switched circuits typically lead to additional takes.

The optical LightingSensor can queue a precise lighting effect by detecting an extingished practical or even a blown out candle flame.

The LightingSensor can trigger any preset/effect producible with the LFXHub.

Control an unlimited load of lamps connected at the DMX-512 output of the LFXHub - with a practical.

  • no rewiring of practicals
  • automatically identified by the LFXHub - easy set up
  • range 12m (13 yards)
  • back

    Applications

    app example 1

    standard app - switched practical
    pic switch

A ceiling lamp is turned on by the actress´ actuation with the original switch on the wall.

The LightingSensor detects the change in brightness of the original ceiling lamp and so triggers film lighting connected at the LFXHub directly or via DMX with the function "dimmer".

    app 2 example

While walking around in a barn at night the actress turns on and off a lighter.
