The LumenRadio chips installed in RC4 Lumenradio dimmers purchased since mid-2018 can now be updated free of charge.

Improvement after firmware update:

  1. In addition to all Lumenradio CRMX transmitters and W-DMX (Wireless Solution) transmitters in G4 mode, RC4 Wireless’ LumenDim dimmers can then also be used with W-DMX transmitters in G4S and G5 mode.
  2. Wireless performance improvements

The Lumenradio Update is free of charge.

Requirements

The update can be installed quickly and easily.

Guide

1. start CRMX Updater on the PC, if necessary install drivers first (Windows normally does this by itself).
2. plug codeloader cable into USB port of PC, put 3.5 mm plug into dataport of dimmer
3. switch off dimmer, disconnect radio connection if necessary
4. select firmware: timo-rx-1.1.0.1.cci
Press and hold the “RF Connect” button on the dimmer.
6. apply dimmer to power, then release RF Connect button
7. CRMX Updater on PC finds the dimmer.

The update is then installed automatically.
