Upgrade all RC4 dimmers of the LumenDim series and Magic series with new functions.
Requirements: dimmer with miniplug-port, a CodeLoader cable, and the free Codeloadersoftware.
New functions with optimized Firmware-Upgrade
Depending on the firmware version currently installed in the dimmer, the firmware upgrade enables new functions, e.g., 16-bit dimming, servo control in 8 or 16 bits, etc.
We generally recommend the upgrade for all dimmers, as it also improves RDM performance.

After Upgrade (depending on dimmer type and version)
Find out firmware version with Option 1 (DMXcat)
Step 1
connect dimmer & DMXcat according to that image.
- launch DMXcat, link it with your phone
- choose RDM control

- Choose RDM button
Step 3
- select tab “Produkt-Info”
Step 4
- Read firmware version
According to step 4 firmware version 4.131.6.4 from Sept 21, 2013 is installed.
