Instead of the USB dongle X-Stick (included in the accessory kit) – for wireless configuration of the dimmers with the free Commander Software – any RC4 Magic 2.4 GHz dimmer (except the DMX2dim micro) can be used in conjunction with the Codeloader cable.
Guide
- Install RC4 Commander Software on your computer (Windows or MacOS) > Download
- Plug the Codeloader cable into the USB port of the computer, plug the 3.5 mm plug into the data port of the dimmer.
- Supply dimmer with power (5 – 32 V)
- Press the “Func” button on the dimmer for at least 5 seconds > Dongle mode is activated, Help
- Launch Commander Software
To exit dongle mode, disconnect the dimmer from the supply voltage.
